Effective Date: June 20, 2026
The Zambia National Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Quiz 2026 is a nationwide knowledge competition organized to promote occupational safety, health, environmental awareness, professional excellence, and youth participation across Zambia. The competition is administered by ASHEPA through an online learning and quiz platform and may include a final in-person quiz round for shortlisted participants.
Participation in the competition means the participant accepts these Competition Rules, the Privacy Policy, and the Terms and Conditions. ASHEPA may refuse, suspend, review, or disqualify participation where a participant does not comply with these rules.
1. Competition Categories
The competition has two categories:
- Practicing HSE Professionals
- Undergraduate College and University Students
Participants must register under the correct category. ASHEPA may move, suspend, or reject a participant where the submitted information or documents show that the participant registered under the wrong category.
01Registration
Eligible participants must register online using their own personal details. Each participant may use only one account unless ASHEPA gives written approval for a correction, replacement, or administrative adjustment.
Undergraduate participants must upload a valid student ID card. HSE Professionals must upload a valid National Registration Card, passport, or other approved identification document.
02Verification
Participants may be required to complete verification before accessing the full learning and quiz process. Verification may include a clear photo capture, document review, category confirmation, account review, and administrative checks.
ASHEPA may reject unclear, incomplete, suspicious, inconsistent, or unverifiable documents.
03Learning Stage
Participants must complete all assigned learning materials before the quiz is unlocked. The learning stage supports fair preparation and ensures that participants engage with key Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental topics before taking the quiz.
04Online Quiz Stage
The online quiz is timed and must be completed honestly and independently. Impersonation, answer sharing, unauthorized assistance, multiple accounts, use of another person’s account, or any attempt to manipulate the platform is strictly prohibited.
05Ranking and Shortlisting
Ranking may consider final score, quiz duration, submission time, course completion status, category, and ASHEPA’s integrity review. After the online quiz closes, ASHEPA may review the top results before confirming the Top 5 participants from each category for the final in-person round.
06Final In-Person Quiz Round
The shortlisted participants from both categories will compete in the final in-person quiz round. The final round will determine the Winner, First Runner-Up, and Second Runner-Up in each category.
07Awards and Recognition
The Winner, First Runner-Up, and Second Runner-Up from both categories will receive prizes and official recognition from ASHEPA. The full prize package will be announced before the quiz competition ends.
08Certificate of Participation
Participants who complete the required learning process and submit the online quiz may receive a Certificate of Participation from ASHEPA. Certificates may be authenticated through the certificate verification page.
Fraud Detection and Integrity ReviewStrict integrity rules apply
The quiz platform uses fraud detection and integrity review tools designed to check, detect, record, and flag suspicious activity connected to a participant’s account, device, IP address, timing pattern, quiz attempt, document upload, verification photo, course progress, and registration details.
ASHEPA may review unusual or suspicious activity, including multiple accounts, repeated device patterns, suspicious timing, unusually fast completion, missing verification details, inconsistent identity documents, category mismatch, shared answers, repeated IP patterns, proxy or VPN indicators, impersonation indicators, multiple submissions, or any other behaviour that may create an unfair advantage.
A participant whose activity is flagged may be placed under administrative review. ASHEPA may request additional information, delay certificate issuing, remove the participant from the leaderboard, suspend finalist selection, withhold prizes, or disqualify the participant depending on the outcome of the review.
Any participant found to have engaged in fraudulent, dishonest, duplicated, manipulated, or unfair participation may be disqualified from the quiz, certificate issuance, finalist selection, award consideration, and future ASHEPA quiz programs.
Eligibility
The competition is open to registered participants in Zambia who meet the requirements for either the Practicing HSE Professionals category or the Undergraduate College and University Students category.
ASHEPA reserves the right to verify participant information before, during, or after the quiz process.
Account Use
Each participant must use only one account and must not share login details with any other person. Participants are responsible for activity carried out under their account.
Identity Documents
Documents must be valid, clear, readable, and connected to the participant. Falsified, altered, expired, borrowed, incomplete, or misleading documents may lead to disqualification.
Verification Photo
The verification photo must clearly show the participant. A blurred, unclear, mismatched, copied, or manipulated photo may trigger review or prevent full platform access.
Course Completion
Participants must complete all required lessons assigned to their category before the quiz is unlocked. Skipping or manipulating course progress is prohibited.
Quiz Conduct
The quiz must be completed independently. Participants must not use unauthorized assistance, scripts, bots, shared answers, another person’s device for impersonation, or any method intended to manipulate results.
Ranking
Ranking is provisional until ASHEPA completes any required integrity review. ASHEPA may review top-performing results before confirming shortlisted finalists and final winners.
Leaderboard
Leaderboard results may be published, hidden, corrected, delayed, or removed where ASHEPA identifies review concerns, technical issues, duplicate accounts, or integrity flags.
Final Round
Finalists must comply with ASHEPA’s instructions for the in-person round, including identity confirmation, attendance requirements, conduct rules, and any additional quiz procedures.
Awards
Awards are subject to eligibility confirmation, integrity review, attendance where required, and compliance with these Competition Rules. ASHEPA may withhold or withdraw an award if a rule breach is identified.
Certificates
Certificates are issued only to eligible participants who complete the required learning process and submit the online quiz. Certificate access may be delayed or withheld during integrity review.
Disqualification
ASHEPA may disqualify any participant whose registration, identity, quiz attempt, result, document, photo, conduct, or supporting information is false, manipulated, duplicated, incomplete, suspicious, or inconsistent with the competition rules.
Final Decision
ASHEPA’s decision on eligibility, verification, fraud review, shortlisting, final results, rankings, awards, certificates, and disqualification is final after administrative review. ASHEPA may correct errors, investigate complaints, and take reasonable action to protect the credibility and fairness of the competition.
