By registering, logging in, accessing learning materials, uploading documents, capturing a verification photo, taking the quiz, viewing results, downloading certificates, or using any part of the website, the user agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
1. Definitions
ASHEPA means the African Safety, Health and Environmental Professional Association and its authorized administrators, committees, representatives, technical service providers, and program officers acting for the quiz.

Participant means a person registered under the HSE Professional category or the Undergraduate College and University Students category.
2. Acceptance of Terms
Use of the platform confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Competition Rules. A participant who does not accept these documents must not register, access learning materials, take the quiz, or use the certificate system.
ASHEPA may update these Terms and Conditions where required for legal, technical, security, administrative, or competition reasons.
3. Eligibility
The platform is intended for eligible participants in Zambia who register under one of the approved categories: Practicing HSE Professionals or Undergraduate College and University Students.
ASHEPA may request additional information to confirm eligibility, category, identity, institution, professional status, or compliance with the competition rules.
4. Account Registration
Participants must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. Each participant may create and use only one account unless ASHEPA gives written approval for correction, replacement, or administrative adjustment.
Participants must keep login credentials confidential. Any activity carried out through a participant’s account may be treated as activity by that participant unless ASHEPA determines otherwise after review.
5. Required Documents
Undergraduate participants must upload a valid student ID card. HSE Professional participants must upload a valid National Registration Card, passport, or other approved identification document.
Documents must be readable, genuine, valid, and related to the registered participant. False, altered, borrowed, misleading, incomplete, or inconsistent documents may lead to restricted access, review, disqualification, or cancellation of certificate or award status.
6. Verification Photo
Participants may be required to capture a clear verification photo through the platform. The photo may be used for identity confirmation, category review, account integrity, certificate review, and finalist verification.
Participants must not upload or capture a photo of another person or use any method intended to mislead ASHEPA about identity.
7. Learning Materials
Learning materials are provided for preparation and educational purposes. Participants must complete assigned lessons before the quiz is unlocked. ASHEPA may update, remove, correct, or reorganize learning materials where necessary.
Learning content remains the property of ASHEPA or the relevant content owner and must not be copied, sold, republished, or used for unauthorized commercial purposes.
8. Quiz Access and Conduct
The quiz is timed and must be completed honestly and independently. Participants must not impersonate another person, use another person’s account, share answers, receive unauthorized assistance, use scripts or bots, manipulate timing, attempt system interference, or use any unfair method.
ASHEPA may suspend or invalidate a quiz attempt where technical, integrity, identity, or rule concerns are identified.
Integrity and SecurityFraud detection is part of the platform
The platform may record and analyze quiz timing, course progress, IP address, browser, device information, submission activity, document uploads, verification photo, account usage, and other technical records to identify suspicious activity and protect the credibility of the competition.
ASHEPA may review flagged activity, request additional information, withhold results, delay certificates, remove leaderboard entries, suspend accounts, disqualify participants, or reject award status where the participant breaches these Terms and Conditions or the Competition Rules.
9. Ranking, Shortlisting, and Final Round
Online quiz rankings are provisional until reviewed and confirmed by ASHEPA. Ranking may consider score, duration, submission time, course completion, category, and integrity review.
After the online quiz closes, ASHEPA may shortlist the Top 5 participants from each category for the final in-person quiz round. Finalists must follow all additional instructions for attendance, identification, conduct, timing, and final quiz administration.
10. Awards and Recognition
Winners, First Runner-Up, and Second Runner-Up in each category may receive prizes and recognition from ASHEPA. Awards are subject to eligibility, verification, attendance where required, integrity review, and compliance with all rules.
ASHEPA may withhold, correct, cancel, or withdraw recognition where a breach is discovered before or after announcement.
11. Certificates
Eligible participants who complete required learning and submit the online quiz may receive a Certificate of Participation from ASHEPA. Certificates may include a verification code, certificate number, candidate ID, program title, category, issue date, and status.
ASHEPA may delay, withhold, revoke, or mark a certificate invalid if a participant is under review, disqualified, duplicated, or found to have breached the rules.
12. Public Information
ASHEPA may publish approved leaderboard, finalist, winner, and certificate verification information. Published information may include name, category, ranking, institution or organization, province or country, certificate number, and certificate status where appropriate.
Uploaded identity documents, verification photos, passwords, and private administrative notes will not be published as part of public recognition.
13. Participant Responsibilities
Participants must use the platform lawfully, provide accurate information, follow all quiz instructions, protect login credentials, respect other participants and ASHEPA administrators, avoid system misuse, and report technical or account issues promptly.
Participants must not upload harmful files, interfere with the platform, attempt unauthorized access, harass others, publish false information, or use the platform for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
14. Platform Availability
ASHEPA will take reasonable steps to keep the platform available. However, access may be interrupted by maintenance, internet failure, hosting issues, security incidents, power outages, browser problems, device problems, or events outside ASHEPA’s reasonable control.
ASHEPA may extend, pause, reopen, or adjust schedules where a major verified technical issue affects fairness or access.
15. Intellectual Property
The platform design, quiz materials, learning content, certificates, logos, layouts, text, software structure, and program branding are owned by ASHEPA or used with permission. Participants may use learning materials only for personal preparation and quiz participation.
Unauthorized copying, redistribution, sale, republication, extraction, or commercial use is prohibited.
16. Privacy and Data Protection

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.
18. Suspension and Termination
ASHEPA may suspend or terminate access where a participant breaches these Terms and Conditions, violates Competition Rules, submits false information, engages in suspected fraud, attempts system manipulation, or creates security or integrity risk.
19. Governing Law
